How To Become More Mindful in Your Daily Life

Everyone wants to have a healthy, happy, and beautiful life. But we often take a stand for it!

Just when our lives get stuck, frustrated, slowed, boring, dull, and stressful, we tend to turn to thing that only gives short term satisfaction. Not to mention, the allure of scrolling feeds and reels—that takes nothing but our precious time and mental reserves.

That is why I think we need to shift our perspective and lives towards mindfulness. Now, living a mindful life does not require you to set new financial benchmarks, nor does it require any reservation for a luxurious trip to a 5-star destination. You only need to adjust your life habits a little—and try to include some healthy ways and routines—that will help you to live a more mindful and happy life.

Here are some pointers to get started:

Consume Mindful

Look around yourself and think about what is making you more anxious, stressed, and confined. Is it the unnecessary consumption of social feeds? The constantly toxic news from reporters? Or your over-thinking personality? Try to take note of your routine and limit yourself from things that provide your brain with more negatives than positives. Furthermore, reading a good book like “The Overlife” or “Three Kidnapped, Three Siblings, Three Furies” can help you improve your mindfulness experience by paying attention to the book’s appearance, smell, and feel.

“The Overlife: A Tale of Schizophrenia is a poignant exploration of the human spirit’s resilience in the face of mental illness. Through the eyes of Sarah, a young caregiver to her mother, Jodie, both diagnosed with schizophrenia, we witness the complexities of their lives. Dirkby’s raw honesty and empathetic storytelling offer a profound understanding of the challenges faced by those living with mental illness.

“Three Kidnapped, Three Siblings, Three Furies” is a chilling suspense thriller that blends the modern with the mythological. The disappearance of three teenagers in the seemingly idyllic town of Vrayboro sets the stage for a terrifying mystery. As the investigation unfolds, a sinister connection emerges, linking the case to the vengeful acts of the Three Furies from Greek mythology. The novel is a masterclass in suspense, keeping readers on the edge of their seats as they delve into the darkest corners of human nature.

Eat Mindful

We tend to become more prone to bad habits. Whether it is smoking, alcohol consumption, unhealthy eating, or anything dangerous to our immune system, we often take our health for granted. But did you know that having a balanced and healthy diet will help you to be more active and also increase your chance to live more? Therefore, try to pick foods that contain nutrients and rich fiber. Consume healthy foods and try to cook and eat your comfort food at home. Train yourself to limit alcohol and smoking, and keep notes of take-out, processed foods, and fried items, as these quick fixes may put you at risk for severe illness.

Turn Each Day Into More Mindful

Do not take every day for granted. Know that God has blessed us with a new day—for a new beginning and a fresh start. Therefore, take advantage of each day. If you want to learn something new—learn it. If you are willing to get creative—do it. If you are eager to ditch bad habits—dare it. You see, there is no time for excuses, and life does not provide you with a second chance. Always try to improve yourself—bit by bit— you will see yourself better and more happy.

Resonate Mindful

Mindfulness is all about peace, comfort, and appreciating yourself and others. Therefore, do not become self-attained to yourself only. Instead, take others into account and resonate a kind and gracious gesture. Speak to others with kindness and be polite. Offer your hand to the needy, and be thankful for the blessings you have. Doing so will help not just you but others to transmit a sense of mindfulness and calm.
